Ebira people are very rich in
tradition. The word Ebira means manners, ethics and
hospitality. At one point, the Ebiras were
nationally noted for their hospitality. They are
family oriented, both Men and women works hard to
take care of the home. Children are taught total
submission in respect for elders.
Modes of greetings are: Men
give a quick bow and women stoop with two hands
resting on one knee.
Mode of dressing varies
according to the occasion.
