Ebira people are very rich in cultural heritage. Every season is marked with colorful festivals in commemoration of unity, love and prosperity. However, their harmony will be forever robbed off by misguided and misinterpreted religion of Christianity and Islam. Many were lead to believe that the Almighty Allah we all worship, who created all mankind in various color, shape and size can only speak one language and He is intolerant of others with different views. With the above in mind every conflict is resolved with killing. In contrary, Islam means peace, Christianity means tolerance, and tradition means stability.

The hope is, one day peace and harmony shall reign supreme again.
